It's time - it's time - it's actually way past time for two new $5 Block of the Month quilts. I planned to release these during the summer months but got busy with other projects. I think you're going to really like these!

Watch this little video and you'll see what I mean!

What do you think? Remember, you don't have to mark any calendars and keep track of the dates. You don't have to visit any web sites. Once you sign up, just sit back, relax and the patterns will be delivered right to your email inbox automatically. When you're ready to work on a block, just click, print and begin stitching!

The two quilts offered this time are the Cabot Cuties and Scrap Savers Baltimore Applique. One is a combination of pieced and appliqued blocks and the other one is all appliqued.

You'll receive seven 4 1/2" pieced and/or applique blocks each month!

Scrap Savers Baltimore BOM

You'll receive an applique block each month and work on that beautiful border while making the blocks!

You can do either one or both!

Just because your patterns will be delivered to you automatically doesn't mean I won't be around to help. I'm actually going to be stitching right along with you on these two quilts.
photo (25) I'm making my Cabot Cuties blocks with Kaffe Fassett fabrics on a pretty white-on-white background. I can't tell you how sweet and happy these little blocks are. They're so much fun to work on!

photo_4 When I first saw this applique quilt I know I gasped. It was one of those quilts I really, really wanted but knew it just wasn't practical to even think I should purchase it. What's the next best thing? Make one yourself! That's what I'm going to do except I'm putting my own twist on it.
I will admit to having a weakness for fabric and I own more than my share so I'm going to work only from my stash for this quilt. I'll be mixing all kinds of reds and all kinds of greens and whatever else looks good in a block. The only constant I have is my background fabric and you could mix that up too if you wanted.

If you need help, you can always find me here at Sentimental Stitches using the email link right under our picture in the sidebar and there's contact information for me at $5 Block of the Month too so don't hesitate to send me your questions and comments.

That's it for today. Have fun watching the new $5 Block of the Month video! I'm busy packing for the Dear Jane Retreat in Shipshewana. I leave on Saturday so be sure to stop back here next week for lots of pictures and videos of what's going on in Shipshe. With 110 retreaters, all that shopping and good food there's sure to be lots to tell you about.
